    Question Schools without Debentures

Hi All we are moving to HK in the middle of December and will be staying in Pok Fu Lam area as mywork place in Aberdeen will be fairly close by. I have been trying to find a good school for my daughter who is currently attending British Curriculum in Dubai in Grade 2. Her 1st term will be over by 2nd week of December and then we will shift to HK. My worry is growing as I did not find any positive answer from the schools for enrolling her in the 2nd Term. Delia School of Canada has few seat available but I guess it would be quite far if we live in Pok Fu Lam.
Anyboy who is living in Pok Fu Lam and the child is attending DSC please share your experience. Your valuable comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Alternatively, where should I take accommodation which can be close to Aberdeen and Delia School of Canada (to balance the both distances). I will be looking for a 3 bedroom apartment with the budget of around HKD 35K.
    Cheers !!!

Somewhere around Happy Valley would fit quite well between Tai Koo Shing and Aberdeen.

If you're going to be in Pok Fu Lam, try the ESF school - Kennedy. The schools will have a better idea in December if any kids are leaving and not returning for term 2.

Thank you all for your kind replies. I have already applied for HKIS and ESF school...let's see.
We may choose to find a place in the Aberdeen area.

You could also look into CDNIS though I'd be very surprised if they had room at that level... Your Id name also suggests you might be South Asian in which case, I believe Delia would likely be more pleasant than CDNIS for your child even if it's further...

If you're open to the Canadian system, then there's one more school that administers that curriculum: Christian Alliance International School. Their two campuses are both located in Kowloon. I think all the schools mentioned above also have school buses, so you can still choose to stay in Aberdeen. However, I think there will be a debenture for all of them as well. Good luck and welcome to Hong Kong.

Thank you lizping. I will check on CAIS. I still think it would take time in bus for more than 40-50 minture either ways.
