    Service Apartment Recommendations?

    Hello Everyone,

About to move to Hong Kong for two months.
I'm looking for a service apartment in the TST / Kowloon area for the
period two months for around 10,000HKD to 15,000HKD.

Does anyone have any suggestions, where has a good community of expats?

    Thanks

    Simon

I'm staying at Yi serviced apartments in TST, been here a couple of weeks now. Nice location near the museums, very nicely furnished and equipped. I'm in the biggest apartment they have, but the smaller ones may come in around your budget. Not really bumped into anyone else, although I have seen a few expats coming in and out.

I also looked at Chi Residences which have a few sites around Kowloon, but none as well sited as where I am now....cheaper though, and very well reviewed.

Chi residences is not bad but the 314 is actually on a main road so if you are used to noise then it will be fine for you.

also check out the lodge,The Lodge Serviced Apartments | www.thelodgehk.com it's not bad, one stop away from TST and you should be able to get something around your budget. It will be quieter too as it faces to a not so busy street. Not sure about if it's available for 2 months only.

    Hey guys,

thanks for the replies. I arrived last night, and there was nothing available or the budget I set. December seems to be a hard time to get an apartment at all, let along for cheap. So in the end I opted for V apartments in Causeway Bay. So far, I'm loving the place, very nice decor (contemporary).

It ended up costing 27,000 which is almost twice my budget but then again, I
guess HK is just expensive to live in in general. Very convenient area thou!

The V is good, no complaints really. There are many restaurants, but the area is super busy! Alot of people. The sound proofing is good thou, you only hear all the hustle and bustle if you open the window, otherwise, you get a good nights sleep!
