I've been able to find the answer to pretty much any question I have using this site, this will be very handy as I embark on my new adventure in Hong Kong!
By actually SEARCHING through this forum I was able to re-negotiate my initial offer and get a new package that I feel very comfortable with...
My visa came in the mail today and my flight over will be next week, I'm finding it very hard to keep focused on anything besides Hong Kong and the excitement I have! I figured I would be a little worried, having never been there and only having the ability to speak English (for the time being), but I don't really have any concerns at all. Thinking about the possibilities of traveling all over, and living in a great city, and meeting yall folks really makes a person feel at ease.
My only problem is.... how does a person keep themselves occupied on a 14+ hour flight from Chicago to Hong Kong

I'm going to bring a lot of books, I'll have my laptop but United doesn't have electrical outlets (at least not in coach

) If you have some suggestions please feel free to share, also any advice on jet lag is much appreciated.
Ha ha... I guess things could be worse..
