    about taxes, it's like this: after march of every year the employer will have to inform the tax department how much is paid to the employees as taxes. the tax dept. then sends the employee the tax demand which covers the year ended in march and at the same time the tax dept requires you to pay in advance for the following year.

    this means if you start in july 2007, your tax assessment will cover the period from july 2007 to end march 2008, and also an advance (based on an estimate) for the year commencing april 2008 to end march 2009.

    this happens only in the first year, in the second and subsequent years, you will always be paying one year in advance.

    it is quite easy to budget this payment, unless of course you like to spend money.

    you are earning a good salary for a newbie.
