I have befriended a 30 something American woman who is taking a job in HK as a head hunter and will land in abt 6 weeks.
Since her salary is so so and there is no housing allowance, I thought it might be good for her to live with someone for a bit before signing a 2 year lease.
She is Afro-American and may decide not to stay past her 3 mos probation.
So, if you were in her shoes, where would you go about finding a nice place to live as a room mate in Hong Kong?
I cannot offer her a place as I am month to month now.

She could try studio apartments such as Studio Studio or Cozy Studio or the studios that are advertised on this site. As far as I can remember, they go from month to month.
