Gurgaon to Hong Kong living cost

Hi,
I am planning to move grom Gurgaon to Hong kong with wife and two children 16 yrs and 10 yrs. I have got an offer of housing + medical + net HKD 45k P.M.
Children would go to any International School and cooking would be most of the time at home- Vegetarian.
Kindly suggest if I should accept the offer. I think school cost is going to be HKD 20K for both and 15k p.m. for house hold exps with maid.
Pls suggest.

Getting Admission to the schools will be a problem specially for the 10 year old. Tax approximately $3k per month. Not much saving?

As in bills, food etc? If so it's nowhere near enough. That's not enough for even one person.

That's a typo - he said $15K per month in the previous version, including a maid (for which I think you need to budget $5K per month - why do you need a maid if your kids are at school and your wife isn't working?)

Having a maid is just an idea as we have one in Gurgaon. But as per life style in Hong kong I think maid might not be required.

Without maid, is the budget of 15k seems o.k. for family of 4. House hold means every thing at home.

Do schools charge frequently for extra services apart from regular school fee.

Cost of food for 4 about $4K. Utilities budget $2K. Transport $2K minimum for 3 . You can live under $10k without maid. Entertainment, movies, eating out will be extra.
