Going back to the OP I still can't work out how you can be disappointed with somewhere BEFORE you get there.

Unfortunately I don't have the time today to compare and contrast readings, but I'm not making it up. I'll be happy to do PM you before my next ride when I have a look.

On a side note, a ten second google did return this. Certainly not hard data and most likely biased.....but this was easy enough to find.

My response to you was genuine and I was not trying to be condescending. As I've raised 3 in Hong Kong, I know lots of paths and trails to keep kids busy at all levels from toddler up to teenagers.

As I suspected, you were talking about toddlers that you choose to leave at home; we chose to take our toddlers out on the trails. On our backs when they were really young and walking when they started taking steps. You should revise your comment about much of it being inaccessible by kids to much of it being inaccessible by toddlers. Vast majority of Hong Kong trails (paved and ribboned) are very much accessible by kids.

As I keen runner who also runs at happy valley three or four times a week I can promise you she isn't running on the racetrack grass. The security are very quick to stop anyone even straying onto there! That leaves the football pitches in the middle, some of which are astro turf. Hardly a ginormus piece of grass!

You run round the concrete path just inside the track. Not complaining as its nice enough, just saying....

In my experince there are many more running options in London...Hyde Park, Clapham Common, Victoria Park, Battersea Park, Richmond Park to name just a few that I used to run in. They are much bigger open spaces of parkland and better for runners.

Venture out a bit further and Hong Kong does have great trails which are arguably better that you'd find in the immediate vicinity of London.

    Sorry misnderstood! My mistake.

They still won't let them venture onto the racetrack grass though!!

And I guess the point still stands that there are all those massive parks in central london.

How can someone have a 'wrong experience'?

And if you read my post to the end I mentioned all the trails:
