    Where to Move?

    I have a question:

I am in HK this week looking for an apartment. I am looking to spend no more than 20K. I am a single guy and would like to live around other expats.

I know that there are many expats living in the midlevles area, but are there other locations that are good for westerners?

Thanks for your input on your locations

    Steve

Where would you be working? Happy Valley, some places in Wanchai, Taikoo Shing, Kennedy Town are single expat friendly... on the Island.

I would suggest going out to Kennedy Town, pricing is a little bit lower so you get more for your buck. They have the Merton there and a fair amount of expats. Some of the members here go to a local/expat bar there and meet up. Lots of them are single too and they all love it.

    Thanks for the tips

Thanks for the tips. I am here for 2 weeks both apartment hunting and helping my company look for office space. It's alot to absorb. Any good spots to hang out during the weekend?
