    It is worth shipping some stuff; and not worth shipping others. Hong Kong is rip off city for some electrical equipment. Inexpensive stuff like oven, kettle, food mixer - leave behind.

    TV, PC - post up some details so you can get some informed views rather than "leave 99% behind". I brought over TV, speaker system and media player and saved myself a few thousand bucks in the process.

    no, all lamps leave at home... they won't have the right wiring as stated above.
