db has it's own forum, which you can scour for excellent second hand furniture deals.

we got a king sized matress (never used, still in plastic) for free because the people bought it in the usa before moving here, shipped it and then found it was too big for their boat's bedroom!

one of the things i miss about db is their classified ads....where we live now is just too inconvenient for stuff like that...
