Keep this thread updated boys and girls - I've got two weeks and a whole empty suitcase to fill

Haven't read the article yet, but here are things I like to buy:

Food - 'luxury' items which are much cheaper in the UK - olives for example.
Medicine - E.g. things like headache pills are much cheaper in the UK)
Razor blades - Much cheaper in UK
A couple of books that I would never find here

Hmmm can't seem to think of much else but there must be loads more.

People who bring things like cheese, ice cream etc - How do you keep it cold?

When I go back home to India, I bring hindi books, snacks that I can't get here, even at the Indian gorcery stores.
Missus, when she goes back to Germany, she brings back loads of bread, cheese, some soya meat stuff (not real meat), so that she can cook chilli or spaghetti bolognese for me, as I am a vegetarian ...

    For me:
    Plenty of cheese
    Several kind of salami
    Bread mix
    A few types of sweets
    Fresh yeast (!!!)
    Painkillers

To JJ: for me I cannot keep it cold all the way. I will make sure it is kept kold until last minute, then wrapped in newpaper/foil/plastic bag (also to avoid too much smell and alarm the customs people/dogs )
Remember that when in air the suitcase is basically inside a big fridge; so the actual time where goods are exposed to warmer temperatures is limited

    1) I havent seen fresh yeast anywhere (have not checked fancy supermarkets on HK Island)
    2) Price in Denmark is less than 1hkd/package (50gr)
    3) They take up basically no space and I have to go to same area in supermarket for cheese anyway

I discovered Planters' Chile Picante (con Limon) Corn Nuts during a short trip to Vancouver two years ago and I always forget to tell my friends who make frequent trips to Canada to pick up a box or 3 for me on their way back.

I presume these would be available in the States.

OTC medication, toothpaste, shower gel, ketchup and dill pickle chips, coffee crisp, turtles chocolate, excel gum, vitamins, body lotion, sour keys, decadent chocolate chip cookies, deordorant and shave cream, clothes and shoes that is not ridiculously overpriced compared to here, neocitran, peek freans fruit creme cookies... I'm a junk food junkie

I always go home with 2 empty suitcases to return with them full.
