How come so many of you buy medication, what's wrong with you all?

Simplicity. Easier to browse aisles all in English rather than have to guess what's what because all the fronts of packages are in Chinese. Brands you rcognise and understand (but I prefer the usa with its fabulous generics with clear listing of what brand its equivalent to).
    Leaflets inside with dosage instructions!
Better range. Not having to google the thing, print it out and wave it in front of a pharmasist to find. Not many reasons really! Oh and higher confidence of not being fake.

I stock up the medicine drawer so I have stuff on hand. Painkillers, benydryl, cold remedies etc etc.

When I last went home to New Zealand I bought 3 pairs of jeans - I'm a kiwi Chinese but the pants here just wouldn't fit (other than the ones from Zara or H&M)! No brand shoes / sandals are also good if you're like me and don't always believe in the big brands, the branded ones here are overpriced and the no brand ones just kinda disintegrate in the rain. Hmm.

Food that I would bring over -
Honey & manuka drops - available here @ 3 times the price
    Muesli bars & the like
    Cookie Bear 100s & 1000s!
Whittaker's chocolate - I've only seen them in Tung Chung
Nesquik strawberry - it's always the little things that make me homesick

Last time I visited a friend in Belgium and brought back a jar of speculoos spread which I absolutely fell in love with, so if you like this kind of stuff you might want to stock up

Thanks for this, at least cheaper than buying from Nespresso.

I wonder if there is any connection that people are bringing:

salami, cheese, saucisson, crisps, foie gras, cookies, pate, sweets, chewing tobacco, snacks
    and
    pain killers, deodorant

    Overdoing it maybe?

If you’re a man and your foot size is larger than 44 European or 12 US, bring a pair or two of new shoes.
Why the difference in European size and US size?

    a US size 12 is a European 46

    a European 44 is a US size 10

might want to change this in the article because it does not add up
