    Aussie moving to HK for sport

    Hi guys,

    Looking to move to Hong kong for sports! will be my very first time there. Will be there Sept 2012- Feb 2013

    Wanted to get a little advice tho

    I have my own little place they are setting me up with but wanted some basic info on the way people live in HK and how much is living expenses!

    Any information on the following would be great

    -Food

    -Partying (am 21 aussie)

    -Transport

    -Gyms

    any other useful advice would be greatly appreciated too!

    HK for sport? Flippin heck unless you ride horses, play ping-pong or run on trails, no sport here mate!

    Indeed, but compared to Australia? Not much.

    Sadly Australia is centuries ahead of HK for sport. You have to have lived in both places to realise the difference! Sport is an integral part of Aussie culture - here money is engrained in the culture, not sport. Sport is a "hobby" at best here.
