bringing the family dog

we have recently decided to take up appointments in HK and are planning to bring our flat coat retriever with us.Currently we live in the UK, I know we can use pet reloction companies- firstly has anyone recent experience of this, good reccommendations and approx costs and
- secondly, is anyone familiar with bringing a pet as excess luggage from UK to HK? I have read about this but not from uk to hk.

Search for my thread, I brought my dog over from UK last April, it goes through the procedures and company I used.

We used "Golden Arrow Shippers" based in Church Stretton, Shropshire to bring our dogs over (tailor made travel crates and excellent service), then George Yung to collect at HK.
