Please suggest me the right area to stay

    Hi Friends,
I would be relocating to HK in few weeks.
Im getting transferred from ChengDu to HongKong.
My office is in Kowloon Bay (Kader Building).
Can you please suggest which place is best for me to share/rent an apartment?
My budget is around 7500 HKD, and I wont mind staying a little far from center of the city (I can use metro/bus to commute).

Please also help me to get an idea of the bus/metro system. Are they good enough to access every corner of HK?

Other Details : Indian, Male, Single, 28 years old, prefer both shared/rent apartment.

Might want to check out Jordan....close to your work, affordable housing and large Indian community.

Jordan...Ok. Thanks for your reply. Are there any forums where people share their requirements for roommate? I would look out for apartments in Jordan. Please suggest some authentic website for house hunting.

why have a flatshare, if a flatshare at 350 sq ft at Jordan, then would you consider an entire flat at 300 in kwun tong (only 3 stops and 10mins on mtr)? or even better, if you don't mind travelling at bit, 450 sq ft apartment in tseung kwan o at 20mins

Are these specifications affordable under 7500 hkd? I dont mind a 20 min travel though. Thanks for giving me more options. The more the better. :-)

if you don't mind 45mins train journey ( standing all the way on train), for HK$7500, you can get 600 sq ft in taipo or 55mins journey ( seating down at train to Kowloon tong then standing to Kowloon bay) 700 sq ft at sheung shui

Ok let me ask a lame question. The places you are stating...are they districts or territories or islands in HK? Im not well aware of HK geography. While searching in websites...they often ask the district as one of the search criteria.
