    I've never noticed it and it certainly hasn't caused me any breathing difficulties etc.

    London worse pollution than any part of HK... Lol. Too funny. It doesn’t matter if you live on the south side, in Kowloon, in Sai Kung or in the armpit of Tuen Mun.. Pollution is all pervasive and there is no getting away from that.

    On 50k the tax savings vs. London don't stack up when you add in the extra you'll be paying for worse accomodation and a longer commute.

    Come for the adventure, not the money.

    Personally I think you would be batshit crazy to give up a nice life in London and move to HK on 50k with a wife and child.

    He's right you know. If you leave London they come in the night and move it and you can never, ever find it again. Plus, at 31, your life is nearly over...focus man!

    Annual Particulate levels in London around 13-15. Hong Kong is above WHO standards most days, and like today closer to double. That's around 6 times higher than London.
