Hi all. I'll be arriving in HK on the 8th of August and my shipment from Korea should get there on the 11th. It's not that much, about 13 or 14 boxes. (I'm not done packing yet.) My moving company on this side would charge an additional $600 US for the costs associated with collecting the shipment at the port and delivering it to the specified address. Here's the catch: I don't need unpacking, assembly, and all the frills Korean movers seem to provide as part of the package. My stuff is going to be stored at a building my employer owns for about a month until I've gotten my own apartment. I know there will be some charges associated with retrieval at the port, but $600 US seems excessive. Can anyone recommend a removal company to handle this for me? I've contacted IKARemoval based on an earlier thread I just found, but other recommendations would be very welcome. I'm leaving Korea next week and I need to sort this out soon! Thanks!
