Hong Kong ID card

Hi I'm relocating in early January so beginning to get my list together of things to do. What is the process for getting an ID card? I'm doing visa applications now... Thanks in advance.

When you enter Hong Kong with your visa in your passport it will get stamped by Immigration at the airport. You then take your passport with the lovely stamp in it to an appointment for a HKID. You can't get an ID card prior to entering for the first time.

Just use those links Howard posted above to make an online booking, and then you will get your card a week or so after your appointment at Immigration Tower.
