    Port-to-Door Moving Services

Does anyone have an estimate of port-to-door mover in HK for an LCL (less than half-full 20' shipping container), or recommendations for good companies??

We would have just under 350cft / 2500lbs of items.

Edit: Updated Info. New amount of items is 1,050lb & 150 ft^3

    Metric conversion for this is: 476kg / 5.6 yd^3

I would have thought any of the international movers could do this, e.g. Crown, Swift, Santa Fe, AGS, Links...

Any reason it wasn't pre-arranged with the mover you are using at the other end? Would seem to have been the easiest option.

We have not yet booked our international shipper, but I will definitely check on this!

I'm basically just wondering what the additional cost would be in HK if I choose a door-to-port service over a door-to-door service.

I'm also curious about import customs. We are brining only general household items & no large furniture. Any information on the likely cost range of clearing customs would be very helpful!

Can I tag on this post? We are already in HK but we want to send a few boxes of our personal stuff from London via airfreight with Anglo Pacific. We have had a door to door service offered which is twice the price of a airfreight to airport. We live in DB and have only 4 boxes. We were told that we might have to pay a lot of money at the airport to free the goods. Is this true? Any advice? Thanks
