Is living in Lamma Island a good choice?

Have you been to the islands recently? I almost signed at lease at Lamma but got relocated to Shanghai. I loved the peace and quiet but those days are gone. Now it is like walking in CWB.

Go during the weekdays. It is still quite quiet.

Is there ongoing development work in Lamma Island? I.e. new infrastructure, roads, public services, etc.

Very little construction. There are a few renovations taking place to some houses. The only noise is Sunday visitors and occasionally a birthday party at one of the restaurants at night. The new community is planned in South Lamma but it is still in the planning stages.

Only in some neighborhoods, like drunk people on Elgin street on Saturday night.

Yes, sure. But I would expect a bit more common sense from the dogs.

One more thing about Lamma, it's probably ok when you work in Central or not too far away from the ferry.

So no MTR extension to Lamma Island any time soon then (next 15 years)
