Moving HK from India

Hi,

I got an offer of 9000 HK $ p.m. net take away salary i.e. around INR 72000 p.m. ( Net Saving) Company is Providing Accommodation + Food (veg) + Transportation. Eventhough , I think its very Low since some local Expenses will be there in HK.

So please suggest , Should I accept the offer ?

You won't get a work visa for a salary that low.

What's the job you'll be doing?

to get a work visa, unofficial minimum requirement is at least 15000 HK$ per month so not sure how the company that is offering you the job can get you a visa.

your company will probably when justifying to HK Immigration dept show your salary as:

9000 + 10000-15000 (accommodation) + 5000-7000 food = Hk$ 24000 - 31000.

The buying power of HK dollar is about one to one. $9,000/ is not enough for you to spend and save. How much are you getting in India and how much is the net saving after taxes?
