    Great feedback from everyone.

    Looks like the route I'll be pursing is teaching English for now. Will looking into getting a Master's though, never thought of that as well.

    Can be risky (also illegal) to seek employment on a tourist visa. I applied for 98 jobs after arriving here and got one interview and luckily got the job. With a BA in Architecture too. The biggest gamble is the time/expense of seeking your job and waiting for the visa. I actually ran out of money for the hostel and slept on the streets just before I started my job. Prepare as much as you can before you leave for HK and good luck!! It is well worth the effort!!

    If you are an ABC and one of your parents were born in HK then you might be able to get a HKID with RO, which would give you the right to work and live in HK indefinitely.
