Taikoo Shing is just a 5-15 min walk to quarry bay, if you take the MTR, it's just one stop.

Nicely is very subjective. I had to live over an hour away to find somewhere that met my definition of it .

The only issue is time, I have wasted my family time here in India by driving 1 hour to work ( +1 return) . So I'm trying not to repeat the mistake.

Have a look at gohome.com.hk. Just a look mind. Most of the apartments are not available and if they were the rents would be 15-20% higher than advertised. It will give you a small idea of what to expect.

That's between Quarry Bay and Tai Koo Shing MTR stations.

Does anyone know the prices at Kornhill?

Hitesh, my experience is that Hong Kong is really a city with very short distances.

I travel from Happy Valley wich is on the Island with no MTR near to Kwun Tong wich is on the Kowloon side.

I go by Bus, then MTR, change to another line, change once more and then walk to the office.
All in all it takes me about 40 minutes and is really convenient in the morning and bearable in the evening during rush hour.

I would not rule out the MTR at all as you are left with much less options.

And get rid of the idea of having an "airy" apartment or anything close to it right now!
