    The price of love... is about GBP5.

    Yep. It just means a few things that were previously staples are now luxury treats. Not a big deal ... but I do tend to come back from the UK with a suitcase full of food!

    Do you dip your high calorie Twiglets in your low calorie salad dressing? (sounds rather nice!)

    P.S. here is good for your treats;

    That's. That's where the last 6 bottles came from... Twiglets are baked not fried; they are actually much lower calorie than crisps.

    If you like your local chewing gum, that. I stocked up on my spices but was surprised to see a couple of them here for about the same cost.

    Cinnamon Gum is almost always available at A&M Grocery Store.

    Gross. Just use your own spices...

    I am American but I really wish I could get Peter Luger Steak Souce. I've been to the American grocery stores in central and none of them have it. I also wish I could get boars head cold cuts. I agree with others though in that I can get 99% of anything I can get at home, it's just more expensive and I might have to go to a special store instead of getting everything at standard supermarket.

    In general, I miss Whole Foods more than almost anything from home. The Supermarkets here don't compare.
