Question I wish I knew that before moving to HK from the UK - any suggestions?

    Hi everyone,

I am re-locating from London in a month time. I will be grateful if someone could advise from experience what essentials should be taken care of before the move, eg. HMRC, tax etc. I have a ltd company in the UK. I am getting married to a HK resident, going to apply for a dependant visa, apply for jobs (legal sector). I am planning to stay until Christmas. I will be grateful for any advice as to what I should bear in mind

Having moved from Australia rather than from England, and having moved more than 30 years ago, my answers don't come into the categories you mentioned.

What I wish I had known before I moved:
    - just how humid it can become without actually starting to rain
    - that sweet corn, thousand island dressing, tuna or roast duck could be considered standard pizza toppings.

Noted, however both are off my concerns list.
Given the timing, both mentioned could appear to be the new normal
    than you for commenting
