UK Nurse Wanting to work in HK

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I would like to ask if anyone would know, if there are nurse posts in Hong Kong, for someone who doesn't speak Cantonese. I understand I need to gain registration first, but dont want to waste time doing so if all posts require ability to speak Cantonese. I am looking to move over with my wife and 2 children.
Thankyou for any help that you could offer.

Would you be the primary breadwinner in the family? If so, even with the best prior experience, specialist qualifications and landing a job at a hospital like the Matilda (I know it has previously been mentioned here on geo as a place which employs non-Chinese speaking nurses), it is highly doubtful that your salary would be enough to support the 4 of you.
The other issue in such a case is that your employer could have a hard time convincing the Immigration Department that they could not find a suitably qualified local person to do the job.

If, OTOH, you are the trailing spouse and your wife has a good job offer here, yes, there are a few nursing jobs open for non-Chinese speakers.

Thankyou for the reply Chingleutsch. I would be the main breadwinner.

Google tells me the average salary is HKD 485,000 per year. That would be really tough for a family of four unless you have accommodation here already.

Thanks Hull Exile, maybe I'll have to look at Singapore instead.
