    My experience, tutoring doesn't matter for schools. Different environment, so you are still considered fresh/entry level.

    I don't think you have much to bargain with, as you said, bachelors with a TEFL is a minimum requirement for a VISA. With no experience as well, I'd jump at the chance of any offer and take it.

    My teacher gf says local primary is about 15k and Int'l school 18-20k, maybe 22k max. Apparently the French Int'l schools only pay 16k as they only work til 2.30pm. Hope this helps.

    I thought 20k was the minimum to get a visa sponsorship / transfer

    Maybe times have changed, but I haven't heard of anyone being granted an employment visa as an EA so I was going to ask about visa status.

    Also be aware that many schools - including international ones - only pay EAs for classroom hours and maybe a bit of prep time. School holidays are salary-free.
