Not likely. As you may be aware, ESF management is under constant scrutiny for overspending, for paying high salaries etc. Situation is 30 kids to a class right now - taught by teachers threatened with wage cuts

We're all for kids having fun too - if they can learn in 15 minutes what would take 30 kids two hours to learn, then they can spend the rest of those two hours on even more fun stuff.

    Homeschoolling in Ma On Shan

We are planning to be in Hong Kong for the spring of 2007. We have two kids, and since we were on the wait list for one of the ESF schools in the area, I will homeschool. Cheaper too! Wondering if there is a homeschool group to meet up with in the area or in Sha Tin. Also, are there libraries around that we as expats can use? Happy to hear about any resources available to English speakers. Thanks!

    Homeschooling Clearwater Bay

I know that at the Adventist College there is a homeschooling group with approx. 10 to 12 kids. Give the school a call as it is mainly made up of expat kids ranging in age from 6 to 11.
