stupid Americans.
As I mentioned earlier, many of these etiquette "issues" are not offensive to just Americans. The Chinese government has acknowledged that some Chinese customs are offensive to people around the world and is working to correct them.
For those of you who prefer to bash America regardless of whether the facts support your vitriol, take a look at yourself and see who is the one passing judgment.
American: "I find some local habits offensive, not just to me but the world in general. Perhaps some of this behavior can be changed."
Chinese: "Yes, we agree and we will work to minimize some of these internationally recognized bad habits."
You: "You Americans are so stupid, intolerant, and arrogant. You want to impose your view on the rest of the world."
Who in this conversation is truly the arrogant, self-important, judgmental one?
