Not correct... While there are some lower end students that migrated there from other international schools because of poor results, there are also many top notch student that compare with the best ones from the top school particularly from the East Indian community.

It also has a more international feel than some of the top schools like CIS and CDNIS who are mostly comprised of local kids with money. Many teachers have gone on to top schools for better which indicates that the level of teaching and the program is sound. One of the downside is that it has more ESL students than many of the other schools. Overall, it's an acceptable choice that is better than many if not most public schools in the western world with a more affordable price point than the top international school.

There is an international school coming to the Gold Coast next year. Possibly easier to get into because it's not established yet? Sorry I don't have any details, my friend who is a teacher tells me about it but I don't have kids myself.

Some details on this site: http://goldcoastonline.hk/

Harrow may be surprised to hear they're 'not established yet'. What's 500 years, give or take a decade or so?

This is the website for the Hong Kong Harrow School.

    Harrow International School Hong Kong

I didn't find their fees that extreme vs. the other schools in HK. I think what might be a bit pricey is the fact that many of the students will be living on campus so when you add up tuition and the boarding costs it might be a bit over the top.
