    Beginner Mandarin course advice

    Hello,

I'm looking to start speaking Mandarin and reading Chinese. I was wondering if anyone can suggest a good evening/weekend course provider?

Please do share any good or bad experiences you (or maybe some friends) have had.

    Many thanks.

You can ask the school/provider to give you a free session (observation mode) before you sign up.

You might want to try and ask here --- Hong Kong Language Learning Centre

You might want to look into the courses of the CUHK http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/clc/ssp_series_4.pdf
I started their Putonghua course as a fulltime student this week... They do evening/Saturday courses at their TST premises.
