We have to go for an interview to get a place for my daughter at one of the schools. I am not in a position to give a debenture, but could offer to pay the year's fees up front. What do you think the impact will be on her chances of a place (they already have a small waiting list of 4 students for that year)?

Small waiting lists like that are not a problem, specially if this school has a fair number of expat types .... lots of people move around.
