    CityU vs CUHK

I am having a hard time making my final decision of which university to attend. I have been accepted to both CityU (MA Global Business Management) and CUHK (MSS Global Political Economy) for the fall semester.

CityU is almost the exact major I was looking for and the location of the school is great, but it is not very highly ranked (110 according to QS).

CUHK is very highly ranked (41 according to QS), but the location of the school is a little far from the city and the program is not exactly what I'm looking for.

I think I should go with the program I want, but I also think that ranking is really important these days. I would appreciate some other opinions so I can make this decision. I am really confused now!

CityU does not have a good reputation in Hong Kong (junior college rebranded as "university"). Some companies I worked for had the policy of only hiring graduates from HKU, CUHK, and HKUST. But that is only a factor if you plan to work in HK in the future.

Go for the one which has the program you think is best suited to you.

Thank you! It is very important for me to find a job out there. I need to include this into my decision-making process.

Totally!! Location don't bother me at all especially HK have a very good transport system. I will go to CUHK without a second thought either .

CUHK I'd echo. The school has a good reputation for their business programme, it's transport connection is fairly good and the environment is much better.

CUHK of course. Hong Kong is not a big city. CUHK is only 15 minutes away from Kowloon Tong. The campus is really nice and if you want to learn some Chinese, it will be a great place to be.

Thanks everyone! I decided to go to CUHK and I'm really happy with my decision. I fly out August 11th and I'm so excited to get started in HK. I think I'm going to live in Mongkok or Prince Edward and commute to CUHK. What do you think?

MK and Prince Edward are very busy. Where are you from? Easier if you live on the east rail line.
