    circus/trapeze schools in HK?

    Hi,
I'm moving to Hong Kong in January and I am a student in aerial trapeze. I've tried to find info online and there are tons of schools in every country, but I haven't been able to find anything in Hong Kong. Does anyone have any leads on circus or acrobatic schools? I would happy to hear about it.

Alternatively, anyone know any gyms or clubs that have climbing ropes? It doesn't seem like a common thing.

    Circus/trapeze in HK

    Hi Victoria

I was so glad to see your email. I am a flyer and I moved here 3 months ago. There is are no circus or aerial schools that I know of as I have been looking for something like that, or acrobatics.

I am an intermediate flyer and was flying in Singapore for 4 months before I got to HK. I was working on my double and swinging out of lines before but am not experienced enough to do it without an instructor calling me. I found an outdoor rig in Macau, and I have been there twice, but it is used mainly for corporate teambuilding events, so only knee hangs and simple tricks. Macau is fun though and the team is great so I'll take you to meet them when you arrive.

What do you practice and where? I have little experience in indoor aerial arts only Club Med but would love to watch, and even train with you if you are willing to guide me I am also going to meet a local gym next week and will check if you can hang a trapeze or spanish web there.

Please email me separately at deleted -- send a private message.

    Hi Kathy!

I know this post is a bit outdated.. But i've just started learning flying trapeze in the UK (and I got absolutely addicted). I'd love to continue during summer when I'm back in HK! I can do a few tricks but haven't done any out of lines yet.

Who did you contact to fly in Macau and how much do they charge? I couldn't really find any official info online. Would really really appreciate your help!!

    Thanks a lot!!

I cant currently find any listings for trapeze classes in Macau. I've seen some in Thailand, but that's a bit too far from Hong Kong for a weekend trip.
I am currently taking static trapeze classes with Aerial Arts Academy, but I really want to try flying trapeze! Please let me know if you have information.
