Help....Degenorate younger brother...chances of education in Hong Kong??

    Hi All,

I have been living in Hong Kong for about 5 months now. Doing well and earning good money. Myself and girlfriend have a nice apartment in Olympic........

now for my question..... i have a degenerate younger brother (19 years old)....ie drugs...no qualifications not even GCSE's....BUT somehow has managed to escape with NO criminal charges or convictions.... Could anyone help on the chances of me being able to get him to some kind of college or school. In the UK there are tech colleges for vocational courses and re-takes... is there anything like this that he could enroll in....i will pay whatever the cost... & im all he has left....i think he deserves a second chance!

    any help is much apreciated!

There is the vocational training council ( Content Central ) but I think most of the courses would be in Cantonese.

Also, since he's older than 19, he will not be eligible for a dependant's visa.

There might be a couple of options to first get him off the drugs and get him some counseling.

And the fact that he will need a student visa but he can only get one if he enrols on an approved course.
