I was once approached about private tuition for a 12month old. The mum wanted me to do 2 hr lessons. I declined when she started asking me about how I would structure my lesson!

While the mother clearly needs help (in more ways than one), I fail to understand why you would refuse to take on a gig with easy money...

I don't think handling a 12 month old and keeping them happy and entertained for 2 hours qualifies as 'easy' Thats more like babysitting work rather than teaching.

Maybe if I put a clause in the contract saying they pay me extra per gram of shit or vomit on my clothes at the end.

Also I got the feeling the mum wouldn't be satisfied with goo goo ga ga. Probably wanted us reciting Shakespeare

my mrs made me go to see a playgroup centre in Kowloon Tong, $2500 a month, 1.5hrs so called playgroup every Saturday, 1 parent with 1 baby sat in a group watching some foreign devil go Oooh Ahh this is a dinosaur Ooooh Ahhhh, Get fecked I can do that and its freeeeeeeeee I told the mrs. she was not pleased.
