    Lightbulb PGCE information

    Hi,

Has anyone completed a PGCE (full-time, 1year) in a University that they would recommend? Anywhere in the world that has reasonable costs and fees?

I'm not sure where you're from or what your subject specialism is but in the UK they are offering bursaries to do the PGCE (depending on your subject). However, if you're not from the EU, I'm not sure this would apply. If you are though, you can get a massive bursary if you have a decent degree classification and in-demand subject.

    Thanks for your response.
Unfortunately I'm not from the UK, I'm from New Zealand and it's just a thought I have, that I would like to study in another country.
I would like to do it full-time for one year and HK only seems to offer it for part-time 2years so I'm looking else where to be able to obtain a PGCE/PGDE.

    Hi Pegi,

As far as I'm aware you can do a full-time one year PGDE in HK, but unless you have HK residency it's really really expensive. I remember looking into it myself before and the price was really high.
