Also if you plan on staying in HK long term TO, put your daughter on the waiting list for ESF. I doubt they will have a spot for your daughter next year already but if you’re lucky a spot could open up in subsequent years.

Yes I believe the negative feedback comes from the locals mostly too. I know quite a few parents who have very happy kids at DSC and AIS. Mostly likely because in the narrow minded perception of most locals, a non-top-tier school academically equates a ‘bad’ school.Original Post Deleted
Lot of good opinions and comments here, Thanks. I will try AIS and DSC (depending where I find suitable accommodation for family (any suggestions about good residential flats around both these school, within a budget of ~18k will be welcome, though i understand this should be on a different forum) and enrol on the waiting list of ESF.
Was also going to suggest Korean International School

Hello @ajoy1_k
I'm also planning to relocate to HK from Singapore with my family sometime in October/November 2018. My daughter is 13 yrs and studying in an international school in CBSE, Grade 9.
Just wanted to check with you, how did your daughter's school admission go ? Did she get admission immediately as soon as you reach HK and in the same grade she was in India ?
Did you apply for school admissions before you landed in HK ?
Any input will be very helpful.
Thanks

@rajibm2005 - Check the ESF openings by year. No clue where your daughter fits in, but senior school places are easier to find, as a lot of kids (enough of them) tend to go to boarding school.

Thanks Shri, I'll check on these schools.
