Best Program for working professional to learn Mandarin in HK?

    Hello,

I will relocate to Hong Kong in July, and I am looking for a University class or a private school to improve my mandarin.
I am currently at a very basic level, in between HSK2 and HSK3, recognise about 300-500 words.

Is anyone aware of any program that starts from 5.30/6PM onwards where I can get a decent level of conversation in about 12-18 months time?

I heard CUHK has a part-time class in the evening, 2/3 hours a week, but not sure how much can I expect to learn.
    Any other options in HK?
Good private school that can be recommended?

    Thanks!

Old thread but for what it's worth, I did Elementary Putonghua I five years ago; it was OK but I had little interest back then so I completed the course and stopped.

I am now looking for a full time course, either 6 or 12 months.

Has anybody done or know someone who did CUHK's 6/12 months full time course?
