    Confused about Qualifications

    Ello all.

I need a bit of assistance trying to understand the Hong Kong Education structure. I've been applying for jobs in Hong Kong as i'm moving over there from England on March 20th. I'm a bit confused about what level of skill they are after.

They all seem to be asking for F.5 or higher... Now, being from England, I have never heard of the F.5 so was hoping someone could shed a bit of light on the situation. I've got 7 G.C.S.E's, 10 years of work experience, and professional IT qualifications under my belt so I'm well qualified but just wanted to know what the F.5 was for Clarification.

    Many thanks.

    Ken

Form 5 would be similar to "o" levels. Form 7 is "a" levels or high school graduate, if you are from north america.

    Ahhh...

Brilliant, that helps and gives me a bit more confidence about my applications.

Sorry, meant to reply sooner, but didn't get the chance... lack of computer for some days.
