    Norwegian International School

Can anyone offer any advice about their experience with the Norwegian International School in Tai Po?

There are two separate campuses - one for Kindergarten and one for Primary.

Any info appreciated about how hard it is to get in, is it a competitive school, what are the teachers like, whats the work load for the kids etc??

Thanks in advance for any help!

I used to know some Swede's who went there (to the Kindergarten). Left now though so can't help. The N.I.S is quite well established and used to be in Kowloon until it moved to Tai Po in 1994.

If you are after International schools in that area, don't forget the one in Hong Lok Yuen and there is also the Japanese International School (a primary school) on Tai Po Road. The latter is taught in English of course, Japanese and Mandarin are optional extras.

    Well, thanks for replying.

I have looked at HLY and JIS but they are significantly more expensive, plus I like that NIS is a relatively small school with much smaller class sizes than the others.

    Anyone else have any feedback?
