    Schools

    Hi there,

As my next posting will most likemy be Hong Kong, I was looking into schools to register our 13-year old son...I must admit fees are quite discouraging (And might not be covered by my employer)..

What would be the best deals out there for secondary school ? Our son speaks both French and English, and has actually been in the French system for the last few years (But frankly the "Lycée Français of HK seems out of reach..)
But we would not be concerned at all about having him switched to an English speaking one at all...

    Many thanks for your feedbacks
    Rgds

    Ronin,

The best alternative is the local system, which is free. However there are many areas of concern for an expat who is in HK for a short term ( < 7 years ) posting.

Got a couple of good articles for you to read.

If you're going to live in Disco Bay, the DBIS is a relatively cheaper option (When compared to some of the other private schools in HK).

Many of the Discovery bay kids seem to commute to HK Island for secondary school.

ANyways, all the international schools are listed here.

    Fees are on
