Just for reference, my MSc is awarded by the University of Liverpool, so it's definitely classed as post graduate. I'm not worried about the value of the qualification as it stands on its own, but it has proven difficult looking at further study.
For example, although PhD courses say that the minimum requirement is a masters from a reputable university, they do a double take when they see you don't have a BSc as this is a somewhat odd position to be in. Fortunately I've got a lot of high level experience that I can use to soothe their concerns - but it would just be easier to tick the "I have a BSc" box :-)
