    HKIS... It's a big school. There are 700 kids at lower primary (from R1- grade 2). They don't teach phonics and spelling in any systematic, quantifiable way.

    If I had it to do over again... I would really think about HK academy.

    I am not a parent but have several colleagues and friends who are ... HK Academy has come up seemingly quite a bit in discussions involving education in HK this school year.

    HK Academy seems to be coming out ahead and even considered to be "the well kept secret in terms of education standards and design in HK."

    I have heard the class sizes are considerably smaller than other schools in HK and the teachers more hands on and interactive with students than other schools.
