Found this MTR map of the Soho East area - it isn't clear to me how to walk there from Taikoo Shing/Place. Do we need to head for Sai Wan Ho station and then walk from there or is there a shorter route?

depending on which part of taikoo u are at, if u are the sea side near the japanese pavillon then just walk along the beach and u can reach in less than 10mins.

if u walk along the road from citiplaza u'll also see an underpass goin to the film archieve and that wld be almost at soho east.

There's a decently sized bookstore on the 2nd floor to Cityplaza. Can't remember what it's called, it's above the Body Shop area.
