Smile Where to live if the children are going to Island school?

hi there we have a 14 and a 16 yo going to island school, we are from australia so we like a little bit of space! can anyone suggest a place near the island school that will allow a small dog and possibly have a private rooftop area?

Happy Valley would be a good family choice, lots of low rise apartment complexes there, which include private roof tops for the top floors, Bisney Road Pok Fu Lam would be another great choice, depending on your budget as there are 2100 - 3000 ft2 villas, with private roof tops there. You could also consider the South and South Eastern side of HK Island, Shek O ( great beach lifestyle ), Stanley, Tai Tam, Red Hill and Shouson hill. Another quality family area, would be Braemar Hill,9 right by North Point ) but not sure how often top floor penthouses come up for rent, and when they do, they wont be cheap. There will also be a higher frequency of other western ( English speaking ) teens living on the South Side of the Island, and Pok Fu Lam, which might be a consideration, so your teens can have some form of normal, neighbourhood interaction...

Once we have a bit of an indication of your housing allowance/budget, it makes it pretty easy from there, to guide you into the right direction.
