After school program for active 4 y.o.

My friend has a 4 y.o. boy who is attending kindergarten, but also needs some additional after school activities. His mom is a working mom and she wants to find him a place where they offer some physical activities, arts and crafts, and storytelling.

Does anyone know a of a good place she can send him a few days a week? They live in Central where there is a lot of choice, but does anyone have good firsthand experiences they'd like to share? Thanks!

SCAA is conveniently located in Causeway Bay and offers a wide range of classes. For four year olds, I know for sure he can attend swimming, squash and dance classes. There are more classes, but I think they're for older children - basketball, fencing, Chinese calligraphy, etc., but you can check it out and give them feedback for more classes. We got our 5 year old into the golf lessons that they have for 6 year olds, without any problems. Annual membership is HK$100 for adults and HK$50 for children. Courses and facilities are paid on a per use basis.

Cosmo Kids located in Central offers the activities you are asking for. They have programs and activities for young children (3-6) in the arts, movement, and storytelling. The center is big and bright so children really enjoy themselves there. The center also offers programs in social and behavior skills development as well if that is what you are looking for. Their course fees are quite reasonable.
