    Tailor needed to repair jacket

The stitching has come loose in the sleeve of one of my jackets and I need to find someone to stitch it up.

I also have a pair of trousers that need shortening by an inch or so.

Does anybody know of a local tailor who would do this?
Some shops are a bit snooty and will only repair things that they have sold.

The jacket and trousers were both bought at Marks and Spencer some time ago.

I live at The Belcher's, so somewhere in that vicinity would be best, but Central/Mid Levels generally is ok.

    Thanks.

The only one I know of (never used or been in) is Mr Yu on Elgin above McSorleys.

Think it is the last shop before Cain Road.

There is a shop that does offer to do alterations/repairs on clothes thats located on Belcher's St. (between Davis & Cadogan Streets), though I can't recall the name.

Another option for you would be to go to Central and visit the little alley that have a few seamstresses. It's located in between Pedder Street (next to Shanghai Tang) and Theater Lane. It's also has an MTR exit (D2, I think).

There are also lots of cheap little repair places in Worldwide House in Central.

Or ask your helper to arrange it...
