What is there to do in Quarry bay?

    Hi it's my first thread

Erm..i think the title says it. I went to Soho East but that place is really really pathetic. Apart from Soho & LKF where else in HK can u find nightlife?

Thanks...6months in HK and still trying to adjust, To those who love HK and is soundly settled down, You have done an amazing job of it!

Soho East is just western dining for those in East of the Island that can't be bothered to go to Soho and LKF.

Dirty Wanchai is an option. What do you prefer doing?

There is a great bar on the top of East Hotel next to the shopping centre and near the Tai Koo MTR station with a great view.

    Sugar.

Lol Wanchai scares me...always feel lost/claustrophobic in that area. I'll stick to Soho and LKF thanks. What about TST?

TST east is better, there are a number of good bars with good view.

TST has Knutsford Terrace...but I personally prefer TST East, LKF, Soho

Thanks for everyone's reply. May check out the clubbing scene at TST this weekend. N actually Wanchai does have some great restaurant's reviews, so I may be brave and go try them.

Maybe give a clue about what sort of things you seek, one persons cool bar is anothers trashy place to avoid.

Wan Chai can be pretty grim for many, it's full of dodgy looking girlie bars that are a very thin disguise for hookers, frequented more often than not by pretty grotesque over-weight drunk and lary old men - who really should show a bit of discretion about paying for sex from people probably economically forced into it.

There are of course other sides to Wan Chai, but this is the most immediately obvious.

I've had fun there with big groups out to take advantage of happy hour cheap drink offers and dance in some trashy 'Coyote Ugly' style bar, but generally speaking it's not a place I used to head to for a 'quality' night out. Although just to reiterate, I have been to a few nice places there.
