Received this in the mail from Paul Zimmerman, our friendly neighbourhood district councillor.
The Police confirmed today that there have been 8 burglaries and 2 attempted burglaries this past month in Pokfulam: Sassoon Road (3), Bisney Road (3), Pok Fu Lam Road (2), Sha Wan Drive (1) and Mt. Davis Road (1). The total losses are over HK$1.2mil.
Burglars tend to pick out properties they can enter by climbing up pipes at the hillside or backyards. I urge you to review your security arrangements, including the installation of razor wires to deter climbing. Do review your alarm systems and increase patrols by security guards.
The police will continue their undercover operations. Four 'two way permit' holders have been arrested at 3 locations in the Southern District, including one at Bisney Road. There are indications that they could have been recruited and directed by gangs.

Lots of complacent house owners in this area. The larger buildings / estates have been left alone.
Need to install signs in appropriate graphic detail with directions to Uncle Li's house further down south... "Really rich people live that way ----->
We just work for them and make pennies on the dollar".
